Be a traveller

Be in this world as if you are a traveller.

On a journey, searching. For truth, for knowledge, for understanding. Those around you are travelling too, some behind, others ahead.
The sooner we accept this, the less energy is wasted on clinging to that which is lost, and we may continue to walk.

The only true home is within oneself. Keep the heart light, the mind quiet and the body strong. Build a home within the soul. For a nourished soul moves freely.

And with that mindset. Embrace life. Be kind without expectation, for goodness follows it. Welcome that which arrives. Learn from those who cross your path, and whatever you do, keep moving. Those written to stay will move with you.

Welcome the visitors

Life gets difficult. Days of darkness that deplete, leaving one in dire need of a glimpse of light. Hope, reassurance, the prospect of a better tomorrow.
Why then should we deny ourselves light? Why turn blessings away? Surely we are worthy of it.

If something comforts your soul then embrace it. Allow it to nourish, perhaps it is the change that will revive your tired self. Welcome the strangers who bring goodness. Greet them, learn from them, exchange well wishes.
Their role is unknown, but they bring insight and lessons and enrich our human experience. Do not turn them away.

From the Home

The secret to emotional stability?
Unconditional love. And to be reminded of it.

Love forms the foundation of our personalities.  It makes us feel secure, safe and valuable. It fills and fills, till our hearts overflow, allowing us to share with those around us.
Without it, we are empty, searching for love in those who cannot provide it.

So fill your children with so much love, that they grow up secure. They will realise that the love their families offer them is so beautiful, and unrivalled. that they are in no need of false love and attention from those who are temporary. Raise the standard, so only the finest, and most pure form is accepted.

The blessing of suffering

Without suffering, we would not be able to appreciate ease.
Without difficulties, we would not be challenged, to reevaluate our lives and direction.

For there is no growth nor development in comfort.

Difficulties make us work harder. They give us a reason to push ourselves more than what we had intended. Do not make the hardship be in vain. It happened for a reason. And that reason is to sculpt. To transform. Do not let it be in vain. Utilise the trial, improve, grow and succeed. And push past the limits originally set.

For doing so provides one with the opportunity to rise above. Learn from the trials and act accordingly, so one day that same trial that was so despised would be treasured, for it brought forth an inner greatness.

See the soul

We live in a highly individualised society. People are afriad. Afraid to trust, afraid to reveal themselves. Reluctant to connect. but why?

The beauty of the human existence is in our ability to deeply connect with others. Why deny yourself that?

Life becomes worth living when you see every being as a story teller, a teacher, a soul. Each can offer you insight, a different perspective and understanding. Make it your task to find the beauty in each person. To find their idiosyncrasies and admire them.

Watch just how much more meaningful life becomes when we are able to do that. To simply connect.

The world is certainly a far more mystical place than what the eyes perceive. But that mysticism isn't for us.  For we have been warn...
